It seems like this is the season for great tie-ups and partnerships and taking over in the world of social media. Another big social media company facebook has acquired Friendfeed which does not have as many users as Facebook or Twitter but nonetheless, has the power to attract many users because of its amazing features and feeds.

This deal between the two has far reaching implications as it will make a huge difference for facebook. Facebook already has an unbeatable number of users so having friendfeed is not to gain the number of users but to actually have the great technology of evolving different kinds of feeds. It is a known fact that the news feed of facebook is not that good whereas, friendfeed has come up with several feeds that are exciting and easy to use. The acquisition of friendfees will thus enable the social media giant, facebook to compete efficiently with its leading competitor Twitter.

The deal between facebook and friendfeed will result into a strong bonding and thereby enhance both the websites business though in different aspects. This will also enable facebook to give a tough competition to Twitter which is its biggest competitor.
